Riverside Ranch is approximately 15 miles from San Antonio which has many attractions that you may want to visit while you're in the area.  These attractions include; The Riverwalk, the Alamo, the Alamodome, Botanical Gardens, Brackenridge Park, Buckhorn Saloon, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Hemisfair Park, Imax Theatre, McNay Art Museum, El Mercado Mexican Market, Fort Sam Houston Museum, Missions of San Antonio, Ripley's Believe It or Not, San Antonio Museum of Art, San Antonio Zoo, Sea World, Spanish Governors Palace, Vietnam and Korean Veterans Memorial, Witte Museum of History and Science, Retama Park Thoroughbred Horse Track, Natural Bridge Caverns, Alamo Classic Car Museum and the Hummel Museum.

There are a least a dozen shopping malls to choose from.  The most-talked about and most interesting one is the River Center Mall, located in downtown San Antonio.  There is also half a dozen fine golf courses within a 30 minute drive of the resort.

Corpus Christi is only about a two hour drive south of Riverside Ranch on I-37.  The famous aircraft carrier of W.W. II (The Lexington) is there to tour, as well as the fun-to-watch-and-bet-on Greyhound Races.
